January has flown by and we can't believe that we are already a month into 2021. Similarly to last week, for this week's blogpost we wanted to take a look at a few more of the inspirational tweets we have seen from Hobbycraft stores.

Many online news articles and reports suggest that crafting has seen a resurgence in the past year, especially with lockdowns. For many, crafting has become an integral part of improving mental health and is widely used for mindfullness. Throughout the past year, Hobbycraft stores have been consistently sharing some awesome content for their followers on Twitter. At Social Retail Group we are always impressed with the sheer talent and expertise that Hobbycraft colleagues have. We think they are #ShopfloorHeroes!

We think that the above tweet from Hobbycraft Colchester is great, the store have even included a question as a means to engage with followers. It is also great to see stores sharing some of their colleagues other interests (e.g Harry Potter) and incorporating this into their tweets in a craft centric way!

The above tweet from Hobbycraft Southampton is awesome. Store colleague Mandy has been very busy making with her new sewing machine. Sharing colleague projects such as this is a great way to encourage followers to get involved in a new craft too!

Here are some tips to use whilst creating tweets for your store:

- Use an eye-catching photo.

- Try to include a question to engage customers.

- Use local hashtags in order to reach out to others in your local area that are following these.
