Product features on Twitter | #ShopfloorHeroes

It's Friday which means it's time for your next #ShopfloorHeroes blogpost after our short break last week. This week's post is all about featuring your colleagues in product tweets to create eye-catching broadcasts for your store's Twitter!

Featuring colleagues in tweets is one of the main ways that stores can create exciting tweets. Including colleagues is a fantastic way to let local followers know who works in their local store and what interests/ crafting expertise they may have.

We love this below tweet from Hobbycraft Banbury as they have included a great photo of store colleague Kelly and have been very up-beat in the copy of the tweet. It fantastic to see that the store have asked their followers a question about the products featured in the tweet as this may encourage conversation amongst followers.

Hobbycraft Watford have also ensured to ask their followers a question and have shared some great imagery of the balloons that store colleague Becca has prepared for a customer. This is good as it shows customers what to expect when buying balloons and using the helium filling service that Hobbycraft stores offer. The store have also made sure to use local and brand compliant hashtags in their tweet.

The following tweet from Hobbycraft Derby is great as the store have been super up-beat in the copy of their tweet and have really showcased the kids deals that they currently have on offer in their store. The store have used a play on words to highlight the bubble machine and have captured a very eye-catching photo to share with their followers.

Last but by no means least, here is another great tweet Hobbycraft Derby. The store have ensured to include a bright and eye-catching image and the copy of the tweet is very upbeat. The store have also included a question to encourage conversation with their followers:

Here are some top tips to consider when featuring your colleagues in tweets:

- Always make sure your colleague are happy to be featured on store Twitter.

- Ensure to take a good quality photo.

- Where possible, use questions in tweets to encourage engagement with your followers!
