Lots of treats and no tricks! | #ShopfloorHeroes

In the lead up to Halloween we’ve seen some fang-tastic tweets from the stores. The festive season is in full swing, and it’s been wonderful to see the colleagues and customers getting creative and crafty in the spirit of spookiness.

Carlisle is sharing the scarily good talents of colleague Shelley’s budding artisan, Harrison. This is a really lovely tweet. It includes some great hashtags including #amazingcolleague, as well as a number of local hashtags to help reach its intended audience. It also lists every product Harrison has used to create his masterpieces meaning other crafters can recreate the projects at home with their kids. The collection of pictures shows the behind the scenes as well as Harrison’s fantastic finished spooky crafts.

Newtownabbey are using Halloween as opportunity to raise donations for Hobbycraft’s charity partner Together for Short Lives. Using trick or treat bags made in store is a great way to show off the talent of the colleagues and inspire others to try the craft for themselves, all whilst fundraising for a hugely worthwhile cause.

Derby have shared this tweet featuring some very happy customers and their brilliant crafts. As this week is half term its great to see kids getting involved in the workshops and taking home their amazing end products just in time to use for Halloween!

As we approach Halloween it’s been awesome to see the stores really pushing the fabulous frightening crafts that can be made, the festive workshops on offer and the fundraising events that customers have the opportunity to be part of. We hope everyone has a spooktacular Halloween!
