Customer make conversations from Hobbycraft Hull | #ShopfloorHeroes

Hello and welcome back to our #ShopfloorHeroes blogpost, this month is flying by but we hope you are all keeping well and enjoying the (slightly) nicer weather!

For this week's blogpost we have selected Hobbycraft Hull as our 'hero store' for the awesome conversations they have been having with their customers on Twitter regarding their current makes and projects. It is great to see the store taking the time to have conversations with their customers as this can help to build up a rapport and allow the store to get to know their following on Twitter which means they may be able to tailor their broadcasts towards the likes and interests of their followers.

The conversations that we have selected to feature in this week's blog began from a news update broadcast which asked the store's followers what they are currently making. The initial broadcast tweet is great as it includes a question, an eye-catching image, a personal sign-off and some hashtags.

(Above) Store colleague Rich is one of our #ShopfloorHeroes as he has consistently ensured to use personal sign-offs in each of his tweets as well as a fantastic up-beat attitude in his responses. Rich is also very good at asking the store's customers further questions which helps to encourage a conversation.

(Above) Here is another thread of conversation that came about following Rich's broadcast. Rich has also made sure to respond to the customer promptly meaning that this conversation developed over a 1 day period. The customer has even reached out later in the day to share a photo of her finished makes, this is fantastic as we can see that there is a good rapport between the store and the customer.

We think that store colleague Rich is awesome! It is great to see how responsive he is with the store's customers and how he always makes sure to respond in an up-beat and personable manner.
