Celebrating Events | #ShopfloorHeroes

Hello and welcome back! This week has absolutely flown by but we are here again to share another #ShopfloorHeroes blogpost featuring the awesome content we have seen from Hobbycraft stores over the past week.

As it is now Pride month, we wanted to feature some of the awesome tweets we have seen from Hobbycraft stores featuring the products that are available for the event as well as the inspiration that store colleagues have created for Pride! It is great to see store's promoting events such as Pride on their store Twitter as this is a great way to let customers know what supplies are available in their local store. It will also hopefully inspire customers to have a go at some crafting in celebration of the event.

Here are a couple of the awesome bay/ product photos we have seen over the past week:

(Above) It is great to see the displays that both Falkirk and Ashford have put together to showcase the supplies that they have on offer for Pride. Both stores have also used relevant and compliant hashtags in their tweets which is great! Local hashtags enable the stores to reach out and potentially engage with individuals in the local area who may also be following these hashtags.

Here are some of the colleague make tweets we have seen over the past week:

(Above) Newtownabbey's colleague Irene has created an awesome jumpsuit which she has showcased for a photo for the store's Twitter. Similarly, Claire from Preston has also showcased one of her makes which is fantastic to see- the store have even shared a photo of the make on display next to the Pride bay.

When sharing broadcasts for your store, we recommend that you include colleagues in your tweets wherever possible as this is a great way to create a more human feel to your store's timeline. Colleague features also work to make tweets more eye-catching and can let your followers know about the expertise of your colleagues!
