Hobbycraft colleagues really are super heroes!

Over last weekend we saw many Hobbycraft stores sharing the awesome super hero events they had been hosting to raise money for their charity partner- Together for Short Lives. It was fantastic to see all of the photos of store colleagues dressed up as super heroes as well as the activities they were doing in order to raise money.

It was awesome to see stores working with the new restrictions following store re-openings to create a fun yet safe charity event for their colleagues and customers.

Sharing news updates regarding what is happening in store is a great way to encourage local customers to make a trip into store and get involved with the in-store activity. Using hashtags that are local to your area is a good way to engage with individuals that may be using or following these hashtags.

As you can see there was a fantastic variety of superhero costumes and some fantastic photos of store colleagues.

Why not start using news update broadcasts to engage with your local customers?

Here are some top tips to start doing this:

- Remember to include your awesome store colleagues in your tweets, this is a great way to let your customers know who works in their local store.

- Local and brand suggested hashtags are a great way to let local people using these hashtags know that there is an event going on in the store.

- Prompts to encourage customers to come into store and get involved.

Not only are Hobbycraft colleagues super heroes, they are #ShopfloorHeroes as well!
