Welcome back #ShopfloorHeroes!
Welcome back! Now many shops have re-opened following lockdown in the UK we wanted to get back to sharing our weekly favourite shop floor conversations and broadcasts to celebrate the awesome workers that have returned to work.
For our first blogpost, we wanted to share some of the awesome broadcasts and conversations we have seen on Twitter from our client, Hobbycraft. Upon the re-opening of stores, many Hobbycraft shops have jumped straight back on to Twitter to keep their customers updated with what is going on in their local store and what changes have been made to ensure staff and customer safety.
This week, we want to share one of the great conversations that we have seen between a store and their local customer. This conversation from Hobbycraft Aintree was one of our favourites that we have seen over the past few weeks as it is a great example of how Twitter can be used at store level for local customers to reach out and enquire about stock before making a trip into the store.

What makes Beth one of our #ShopfloorHeroes?
Store colleague Beth has made sure to respond to the customer promptly within the same day and also took initiative to reserve the item for the customer as she recognised the urgency in the customer's tweet to the store.
Beth has ensured to use a personal sign-off when responding to the customer. This is great as it lets the customer know who they are talking to.
As you can see, the customer is very pleased with the customer service that Beth has offered and has mentioned that they will be in on Friday to pick up and purchase the item.
