#ShopfloorHeroes | 13.03.20

It's Friday 13th! Welcome back to this week's #ShopfloorHeroes blogpost where we share some of our favourite broadcasts and conversations from the week. Similarly to last week, this week we will be focusing on some of the awesome broadcasts we have come across from Hobbycraft stores.

The broadcasts we will be looking at this week specifically focus on colleague makes. We love seeing stores include the expertise of their colleagues in their tweets, it is a good way to let their local followers know which crafts specific colleagues specialise in or are knowledgable about.

We have picked out four of our favourite broadcasts from the week, these include tweets from Hobbycraft Newbury, Nottingham, Oxford and Derby:

Sharing colleague makes produces some great content for social media. It not only can encourage and support the store colleague but can also let customers know who to come and talk to in-store if they are interested in a specific craft. In the above tweet from Hobbycraft Newbury, store colleague Ashleigh has ensured to use brand compliant and local hashtags as well as a personal sign-off.

Hobbycraft stores are excellent at offering inspiration to their customers, especially using all of the awesome products that are in-store. In the above example from Hobbycraft Nottingham we can see that store colleague Jane has created a Bob Ross picture for another colleagues birthday.

We love seeing store colleagues featured in broadcasts as it makes a store's timeline on Twitter more eye-catching! This tweet from Hobbycraft Oxford is great as it is very seasonal and again shows what expertise store colleagues have. In this example, store colleague Sam has been on a Cricut Maker course and has shared the giant daisy that she has made.

It is great to see stores encouraging customers to share their own makes. Hobbycraft Derby have asked their followers to tag them into their quilts after sharing a photo of the amazing quilt store colleague Deb has produced.
