#ShopfloorHeroes | 18.10.19

This week has flown by and we hope you're looking forward to the weekend as much as we are! But before you do sign-off for the weekend, why not check out who this week's #ShopfloorHeroes are!

Without further ado, this week we have picked two hero stores- Hobbycraft Worcester and Hobbycraft Luton. Both of these store's have recently opened in the past few weeks.

Hobbycraft Luton

In the build up to the store opening Hobbycraft Luton shared some awesome broadcasts on Twitter to update their followers. This is a great way to encourage local people to come into the store when it opened and also introduce the Hobbycraft Luton team.

We also saw the store sharing some great tweets featuring individual store colleagues! The store have ensured to introduce the colleague and share what expertise each colleague has. This is a good way to familiarise your customers with who will be working in their local store! Luton have also made sure to use local hashtags in their tweets which will enable them to potentially engage with local people also using and following these hashtags.

We also really liked the following tweet from Luton. It's great to see the store using questions in the tweets as this can encourage conversation with followers. Sharing in-store events and demos on Twitter is a great way to let your followers and other local people know what's going on in store. This may encourage them to come in and get involved.

Hobbycraft Worcester

Hobbycraft Worcester shared a short video of the store opening with their followers which we think was awesome as this keeps customers who were unable to make it to the opening updated with what is going on at their local store.

Similarly to Hobbycraft Luton, Worcester have also been sharing some awesome tweets introducing store colleagues! We love this tweet featuring store colleague Louise as the store have carefully thought about the background when sharing what interests and expertise the colleague has.

In the following tweet Worcester have shared an image of a pig that has been decorated during the decopatch workshop. Worcester have asked their followers to suggest names for the pig, this is a good way to encourage conversation amongst followers!

Hobbycraft Luton and Hobbycraft Worcester are awesome!
