Can you believe it's nearly September? This year is flying by! Before you sign off for the weekend and enjoy the last few days of August, why not check out this week's #ShopfloorHeroes blogpost!
Hobbycraft Loughton are our hero store this week for sharing some fantastic broadcast content with their followers over the past few weeks. Store colleague Millie is a 'shop floor hero' for creating some awesome tweets about the children's activities that have been happening in Hobbycraft stores this Summer.
It is great to see stores tweeting during in-store events as this is a good way to let local customers know what is happening in their local store. It also lets customers that have booked onto future events get an idea of what they can expect when they attend.
Millie has made sure to mention when the next workshop is happening and that customers can book their place online if they want to attend.
Including questions in broadcasts is a great way to encourage conversation with followers. Millie has also made sure to consistently use personal sign-offs in each of the broadcasts. This adds a more personal touch to the tweets and also lets followers know which store colleagues they are talking to if they wish to respond.
Here are a few more examples of the awesome 'news update' tweets created by store colleague Millie:
Here are a few top tips to remember when creating a broadcast tweet:
- Including a photo of a store colleague or customer in a broadcast is a great way to make your tweet more exciting and eye-catching.
- Including a question in a broadcast is a great way to encourage conversation and engage with your local customers.
- Including local and brand hashtags will help your store engage with your local community, especially with other local individuals that may be using these hashtags.
Have a great weekend!
