#ShopfloorHeroes | 14.06.19

Hobbycraft Rushden Lakes are our hero store this week for the awesome news update broadcasts they have been sharing with their followers on Twitter!

As part of our Shopfloor Engage app we have determined the five tasks shop floor colleagues can do to create exceptional customer service on Twitter.

These tasks are made up of:

1. Welcoming new followers into the store

2. Responding to customer mentions

3. Messaging customers privately

4. Broadcasting product feature / offers

5. Broadcasting store news updates

Last weeks blogpost was all about product feature/ offer broadcasts and for this week's blogpost we wanted to continue the theme of focusing on the key tasks of our app and talk about some awesome news update broadcasts we have seen from Hobbycraft Rushden Lakes this week.

Rushden Lakes have included some fantastic photos of their colleagues in their broadcasts which is a great way to let customers know who works in their local store and who are the experts for certain crafts.

We LOVE these broadcasts that feature a customer having a go at creating a flower with the Cricut machine. This is a great way to encourage other customers to come into store and have a go themselves!

News update broadcasts are a great way to let your local customers know what is going on in their local store; they offer a great opportunity to encourage your customers to make a trip into store and get involved with whatever event is happening. Using a question in your broadcast tweet is a good way to encourage conversation and start a relationship between a customer.
