#ShopfloorHeroes | 31.05.19
Store colleague Matt from Hobbycraft Stafford is one of our #ShopfloorHeroes this week!
This conversation began when the store shared a short video of store colleague Ruth demonstrating on the sewing machine. This conversation is great as it is in-line with the brands sewing event that has just launched in stores. The use of a video in the initial broadcast is a great way to share what is going on in store and encourage local customers to come in and get involved.
The customer, Sonia, has responded to the initial broadcast tweet and has mentioned the great service herself and her daughter received from store colleague Ruth.

Matt has responded promptly within the same day to the customer and has encouraged them to share photos of their makes which they have made with the sewing machine.
Store colleague Matt has shown Social Retailer behaviour by responding on behalf of the store to add value to the customer's experience and has also began building a potential long term relationship with the customer by encouraging them to share photos of their makes which then may result in another conversation with the customer.
