For this week's #ShopfloorHeroes blogpost we wanted to feature some of the great coverage we have seen over the bank-holiday weekend where we saw stores holding in-store events to raise money for Together for Short Lives.
It is fantastic to see store's supporting charities. Broadcasting during events such as this is a great way to encourage local customers to come in and get involved.
Here are just a few examples of some of the broadcasts we saw over the weekend:

We love to see stores featuring their #amazingcolleagues!
Promoting off-line events on your store's local Twitter account enables you to let your local customers know what its going on in their local store on a daily basis. It is a great way to encourage local customers to come into store and get involved in events they may not have otherwise known about.
Using local hashtags is a quick and easy way to reach out to potential and current customers who may be using or watching these hashtags.
