We're back this week and we're mixing it up! You may have noticed that we have changed the blog-post name to #ShopfloorHeroes rather than our usual #ShopfloorEngage favourites. We have done this because we want to bring the focus back to the awesome talent of shop-floor workers and want to celebrate #ShopfloorHeroes.
This week we will be looking at a conversation that we have seen recently from Hobbycraft Bath. Store colleague Lucy from Bath is one of our #ShopfloorHeroes as she has encouraged some great conversation between the store and the customer through Twitter.
This conversation began after Hobbycraft Bath shared a photo of some Easter egg boxes that store colleague Lucy's mum had created. This initial broadcast tweet inspired engagement with one of Hobbycraft Bath's customers, Heather.
The store have made sure to include questions in their broadcast tweet which is great as it has encouraged conversation with their follower.
Why is this a hero conversation?
Great use of personal sign-offs throughout the conversation. This enables the customer to know who they are talking to which helps to build up a better rapport between the store and the customer.
Up-beat responses.
Prompt responses to the customer, this conversation developed over a one day period.
Store colleague Lucy has shown good customer service by showing interest in the customer's makes which can be seen through her use of questions.
