#ShopfloorEngage Favourites (05.03.19)

For this week's #ShopfloorEngage favourites we want to offer you some inspiration on how to create an effective broadcast tweet.

Here are some of the great tweets we have seen from the past week, these broadcasts focus on colleague makes:

Offering your customers inspiration is a great way to connect with like-minded customers and can work towards encouraging conversation and building a relationship.

In the above examples, both Hobbycraft Loughton and Hobbycraft Havant have ensured to use the brand hashtag #AmazingColleague as well as some local hashtags. The local hashtags help to enable the stores to reach their local community as people in their local area may search this hashtag to find out what is going on where they live.

We also love to see colleagues featured in broadcasts, here are some examples:

Using colleagues in product posts is a great way to connect with customers as it allows them to know who the experts are in their local store. It is also a great way to communicate what great customer service your colleagues can offer.

You can also use questions in your broadcasts, for example Hobbycraft stores could ask their customers what they are planning to make this week. Asking your customers a question can encourage conversation and can contribute towards building a strong relationship.

Why not try and feature your colleagues in your broadcasts this week or use questions to promote engagement with your customers?

Have a good weekend!
