12 Days off Christmas in Derby… | #ShopfloorHeroes

With Christmas fast approaching (tomorrow!) we’ve been seeing a huge range of festive crafts from Hobbycraft stores. It’s been a great opportunity to show off their creative talents and provides some excellent expertise and inspiration for customers. Derby has used this opportunity to create a ’12 makes of Christmas’ series where they have showcased a new craft technique every day for the first twelve days of December.

Day 10/12 shows a beautiful wreath created by a colleague. This design is linked in the ideas hub, meaning customers can follow a set of instructions to recreate the pattern exactly. The foraged items suggest that they have been getting out in nature, which despite the cold weather can really help boost your mood in the winter months and sounds like a super fun way to approach the activity!

In this post we can see that Deb from Derby has been getting creative in the kitchen to produce this fabulous gingerbread house and snowmen cake pops. Christmas is the perfect time to experiment with baking and it’s wonderful to see how Hobbycraft’s products can assist you in creating festive goodies.

To ‘wrap up’ their series, Derby have showcased their gifting skills by demonstrating how Hobbycraft’s plain wrapping paper can be used in an unusual and interesting way. The personalized labels make these gifts even more special and the Santa belts around the presents add an element of magic with the simple yet super effective design.

We’ve been really impressed with how Hobbycraft Derby have kept this series going and are sad to see it coming to an end. We can’t wait to see what creative crafts they come up with next! Will you be tempted to try out any of their 12 days of crafting ideas?
